If its one on one in a pit fight, the tiger is a lock.

Out in the wild I'm not sure the two would ever run across one another, but it would be a much different fight as hyenas travel in packs and tigers generally do not.

Well a bengal tiger have no problem killing a striped hyena. Unlike the spotted which lives in a family group, the striped hyena lives alone, because of this it is no match for the bigger and more powerful tiger.

In no natural habitat, this is possible. Still, since you asked, I can tell you that 3 hyenas can outsmart a tigress and 5 will do for a tiger. This is the same number that lion vs hyenas will get. So, I'm pretty sure that tigers are as strong (sometimes more and on other occasions lesser) as lions>

"Striped hyenas?" I've never heard of that animal . . . anyway if you mean spotted hyena probably the tiger.

in a pack, I am still going to go with bengal tiger 10 to one on 4 heyenas. However, one on one... yeah 55-1.
