I think a lot of people do. My family was never the touchy-feely type. But as I got older, I found it easier to do. Becuase I realized that the people I love best could be gone in an instant. I never let my bf go to work without telling him I love him, because (it sounds morbid) I would hate to think that if anything happened to him, he would have left without knowing how I feel. That would kill me. Same with my mom and sister. You can love someone and not tell them, sure. People do it everyday. With a kind word, or helping in a time of need, or even a smile over a coffee cup. When you love someone, they know it, if you say it or not. Just don't wait too long to tell the people you love how much you love them. One day it may be too late.

Yeah I think so. To all your questions. It's just liek how some people hug others a lot and it comes naturally to them but other people don't feel comforatable doing so even if a person is upset. I think it depends on how you were brought up.
I used to say "I love you" and give hugs etc to my parents all the time when I was a kid but then once I got past that certain age, I stopped doing it altogether and it never happens. the rest of my family is the same. I'm fine if someone else initiates the hug or says something to show they relaly care first but if I'm the one to initiate it, i find it very difficult. don't worry. You're not alone.

Yes! and it's pretty normal.
Sometimes we need to hear it first, before we can be comfortable saying it back. And it's all good cause, Action does speak louder than words.
Saying it sometimes is good for both souls of persons involved, cause it shows reassurance in ones part in eachother's lifes.
And you might wanna try it today, before it's to late and you never get a chance to say it again. Good_Luck!

A lot of people have trouble admitting their love for others. When you tell someone you love them you are giving that person a great power over you. You have opened up yourself and laid your soul on the table before them. Their rejection would be certain death for your emotions. Many people are too afraid of losing everything by admitting this love.

very much so i myself cannot express any true feelings without paper or a screen. but only cause these feelings are so enchanted in my soul i cannot use mere vocals i must write an essay and i am not really a shy person please believe me you just have to find a way to express yourself and if they love you as much as you love them well they will feel truly blessed

I don't know whether it's "normal", but of course there are many with this problem - usually guys (thankfully not me).
But have you asked yourself why you're afraid? Without knowing you it would be hard to know what it meant.

yes its normal so dont worry. when you say those three "little words" you feel like your puttin yourself on the line and its a scary thought.and just because you dont say it doesnt mean its not there. it'll take some time but dont say it until you feel comfortable doin so!!

a sad thing but yes it happens a lot....... I know ppl that have parents that to this day, and we are all in our 40's, have NOT heard those words out of the mouths of their father or mother.... and prob. never will... yet the parent does love the child, they know it, but they would and still dream of hearing it...... so if you are one of those who can NOT say those 3 little words ?? learn to say them...... they will not make you break out or melt..... write them down, say them to urself in the mirror....... pratice makes perfect....... give urself permission to say * I LOVE YOU * even to urself........... God bless
