I'm thinking of applying to go there, but I wanted to hear what other people thought of it. It's a college in the state of Washington.

I allso wondered if anyone had suggestions on places to go to get a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Yeah, the College (I've got too many school names in my head, and I'm tired, sorry for the mistake.) I've visited their website, and I like their teaching styles.

I just wanted people's thoughts before I visit the campus this year.

its a great school. There are all varieties of people there, young just starting out and middle age/older-policemen, teachers, etc getting more education . 2 close relatives of mine graduated from there. One is successful softwear programmer, the other works in a prison.(degree in sociology) There are many arts programs as well as environmental and native American programs-look it up. No vet medicine there, but loads of interesting biology courses that could lead you down that path. It is a very stimulating learning environment.. The learning/teaching style is interactive and requires students to THINK and for their own ideas, employers state the Evergreen graduates make great employees as they encourage the development of critical thinking.. They had a very good review in Newsweek(?) a year or so or a few back for the best liberal arts colleges in the US. Investigate it more. Its also a beautiful green area for those who like outdoorsy activities.
For vet medicine, try Washington State University or their neighbor, University of Idaho. A family member states they like it at both campuses-very stimulating environment and govt grants for research. Good luck and get busy

I've heard it's EXTREMELY liberal - which is a good thing if that's what you're looking for. Do more research, both into ESU as well as other colleges and see what piques your interest the most.
