Of course there is always the possibility you may be pregnant, but yes, stress can cause irratic or missed periods.

Certainly anything exceptionally stressful will affect your cycle. But if you had unprotected sex during the time before your period was due to begin, it might be a good idea to get a test, just to be on the safe side. Then, you won't be up all night worrying, not just grieving the loss of your grandpa, but the fact that you are pregnant as well. Good luck to you!!

There have been absolute isolated cases of a female being afflicted with actual hemophilia. In the 90 percentile though, they are a carrier, so they most likely inherited it from their father or mother. Usually the carriers are not actually affected by the gene. The free running blood created by the cells constantly is more likely to be attacked than the menstrual blood is. The menstrual cycle is not designed to clot, whereas a cut or scrape would possibly free bleed. My opinion is that it seems like it would cause some sort of blood issue though. Good question.

It can mess up your cycle. Quite a few years ago I had a 2 month period where I lost 2 close friends and a nephew, during that whole time I never even had a hint of my period.

Most definitely, severe emotional upheaval can affect everything about you. Especially, a hormone driven function like menses. If you have been indulging in risky behaviour then maybe do a pg test, just to put yourself at ease. But it really could be stress.
Good luck and condolences

Sure. Stress can do this. So can over dieting. So can things like the phase of the moon. (Full moon = horrible period) So, it's pretty natural. Don't worry unless a couple weeks go by and it still doesn't start. Then call your doctor.

Any form of stress can have an effect on your period. Trying relaxing, I know it will be hard knowing that you lost a family member. Keep your head up. What don't kill us, makes us stronger.

YES... stress can cause you to miss your period. I've missed a period from being stressed out, many times. Don't sweat it. If you know you're safe, then it's just stress.
