Almost impossible to get a true honest answer in my opinion to that question......it should be asked if and when a persons loved one or the person themselves would benefit from this highly controversial procedure........I believe then and only then will ones inner true feelings will be revealed

Absolutely! Stem cell research could aid developing cures for many diseases and injuries such as spinal cord injuries that cause paralysis. Too many people rely on their religion and "prayers". Prayers will not bring back a quadriplegic's ability to walk.

Only bad thing is that life insurance in the future will depend on this research to determine weather or not you get coverage..they would not lose as much money on death benefits if they could see what you will die from..It would be the coolest thing to see a cure for all disease though..

Yes.

Some people have moral problems with killing things so that other things can live, but that is the nature of life on Earth.

You kill things so you can eat (plants are killed as well, since they are living) so that you can continue to live.

Some of our medicines make use of bacteria, yeast, plants, and viruses. Those organisms die so that medicine can be made for you to live.

once again, religion trying to hold back the worlds greatest empire. other countries are becoming more advanced in this technology, because they are moving forward with this research. if you think the u.s. departments are not doing such behind closed doors, you are not very intelligent.
