DEAR GMS: "The debate over why hurricanes have grown more powerful and more frequent in recent years is swirling as the United States enters what is expected to be another active Atlantic storm season. Some scientists say the increased activity is the result of an upswing in a natural cycle that regulates hurricane behavior, while others pin the blame on global warming."

This is taken from a story on CNN. I tend to think that it is to do with the natural cycle. Can we have your opinion on this?

- Thanks, B. Leblanc, Calgary, Canada

DEAR B. LEBLANC: Both are at play plus another element, which is not being addressed by the scientific community. In the early 90s I stated that ocean temperatures would rise as a result of undersea thermal activity – volcanism and tectonic pressure. These, I stated, would combine with human intervention – global warming. The main cause of the current hurricane activity will be traced to a shift in the Earth’s core. In ’98 a significant shift in the core occurred, which has caused an increase in weather patterns. To be sure global warming is playing a part. The patterns we are now experiencing regarding erratic weather will continue throughout this decade.

Nicer weather. Just be thankful that the Earth temperature trend is upward rather than downward.

Don't believe all these hoo-haas that blame everything on cars and industry. The sun is getting hotter. We have absolutely no influence on what is happening to the sun. It's a natural event and we will just have to deal with it.

If you believe the bible we are in the sixth trump, the sixth vail, and the sixth seal has been broken. Christ returns in the seventh trump to reclaim the earth. The earth will not end it will be reborn in the manner that God started it.
