The word “interview” itself makes a person tense and nervous who needs to appear in the interview. It is normal human behaviour to become confused or get tensed but such things can be overcome with practice, learning from seniors and elders, thru own experience. At my time internet was not available. These days Internet is a rich source of information. U can learn many things about the interview by visiting the websites the links of which are given below. On some websites u will find questions also along with answers which are frequently asked and questions pertaining to ur requirement can also be found there provided u surf on them thoroughly and consciously. It will improve ur performance remarkably. If will infuse a high level of confidence in u. It will make u more frank and it will develop diplomatic qualities in u too. Overall, I would say that it will give an impetus to ur personality development. Ur specific requirement can also be met on these sites provided these are surfed thoroughly and consciously.

I've been in that position several times, and I've always landed the permanent job. When asked, always be honest. You might consider the following answers if they apply to you:
* I'm ready to commit to a single company. I've had a lot of wonderful and varied experience, but now I'm ready to apply it.
* Contracting offered me flexibility at a time in my life when I needed it. My situation has changed (my kids are in school, grown, whatever), and I look forward to the stability of working for a single employer.
* I prefer to be part of a team, and not just an ancillary member. I feel I can contribute more as a direct employee, rather than as a temporary helper.
* I want to learn about a company and its products/services completely so that I can be more valuable and get greater job satisfaction. I couldn't get that as a contractor.

Whatever you say, keep it positive. Mention the positive aspects of temp'ing (why you chose it in the first place), but emphasize why your situation is different now.

Why do you want one? The truth is usually the best answer. Are you hoping to grow with a company? Maybe advance into something different? Obviously if you just want to be permanent long enough to get health insurance so you can have that elective surgery you might want to fib a bit but I am betting you have a good reason that benefits both you and the company.

You could tell them you permanent job to gain stablity or you would like to grow with the company.
Plus you would like a chance to prove your skills to the job you planning to go on the interview for.

If you don't know why you want a permanent job for a job interview, then don't go to the job interview.
