It is normal. I am 31 and still have no idea what i want to do when I grow up. But I am going to college to change that. If you are not in college go, and if you are stick with it you will figure it out. You will thank yourself in the long run for getting a degree now instead of having to go back to school at 31.

It is very normal. I am 33 I just quit my job because I did not like what I was doing at all.I have got two degrees and then I started MBA.But left without graduading.I had so many jobs in different fields hoping that would lead me further.Did not happen. Now I am not employed.Soon will be starting a new journey again. The most important question you should ask yourself is "Do I want security or freedom".If you want security you get a job,if not get ready for the journey. No matter what you do try be the best at it.Good luck.

You are FULLY legal now,,, I say you have a couple yrs. to figure it out. But I'd be studying on something. Make darn sure you make it corporate, otherwise you'll end up being someones slave. IMO,, fight and claw your way to the top,, that seems what a person has to do these days. Meaning,,, how the helk can a person survive when you can't buy a gallon of milk and a gallon of gas on (1) hrs. work. Rediculous!!!

Yes. But you can at least move in SOME direction while you're trying to figure it out. Look at your likes and your abilities and try to find a field that works with that. Talk to a lot of people about their professions and why they chose them. You can even get career counseling at a local college.

yes. in today's world a person can have many careers. at 21 most people are still undecided, let them try a few different options. it is possible to become a doctor, own a restaurant, become an engineer and own a myriad of shares in global companies in one lifetime. then travel around the world.

I just turned 21, and I recently decided what I wanted to do in life . After high school my friends went straight to college, after 3 years of college they changed their minds on what they wanted to do in life. So I'm glad i waited because i found what i wanted to do in my heart.Good Luck!

No...I'm in the same situation. As my dad says - "I still don't want to know what to do with my life" (he's almost 60, and about to retire).
