For some extra income you can always babysit a couple of kids. Put up some flyer's around town. You can actually make pretty good money that way. It just all depends on whether you can handle a couple of kids while your 8 months pregnant.
As to other means of income, well, I just don't know of any. You will still be getting paid while your off work. At least a lot of work places pay. You might try taking some vacation time that way you will still be getting paid and then once your vacation time is all used up then go on leave.
Just some thoughts.

1st: WIC doesn't pay for diapers, all WIC does while you are pregnant is buy milk, cheese, eggs and peanut butter, formula after the baby is born too but you have to have a valid reason to not be breastfeeding, and they do not consider having to go back to work a valid reason. In fact, they offer to give you a nice breast pump if you can prove you are working at least 8 hour shifts.
2nd: You can not file an unemployment claim unless you have been wrongfully FIRED from a job. They will not pay you unemployment just because you are on maternity leave..
Ask your boss about short term disablity and if it is offered through your company. If not you can look into work @ home programs but honestly 90% of them are scams you have to put money into. Not only that but you are not going to have time for that while recovering from childbirth either. Unfortunately unless you are UNDER the poverty limit the government won't help you at all. The best thing to do is to save save save and get help from the child's father, if you do not have that already..
good luck i am in this same postion and it's tough having to prepare for a baby and have a super tight budget.

I f you have a car get a paper route. Seriously. The baby will probably have you up at 3am anyway. Might as well be productive. I paid for my sons private school with a paper route. I was constantly loaded on coffee and mountain dew the rest of the day... but it was well worth it.
Hey Kitty rogers. She did ask how she can EARN extra money... she's trying...

How she would be in a position to advance a touch one at her age?? is this your 19 twelve months old?? you're able to be slightly greater particular while in desire for help. some 19 twelve months olds are very mature, honestly. help her in her decision and help while she asks for help. Don;t criticize her yet be there to pay attention and help. A hug is going a protracted way too!

You should get some maternity leave payments. Go talk to unemployment.
After that, you might consider some work from home options like running ebay auctions, even pro-blogging.

They have W.I.C. which is used for babies to buy their diapers and formula and I think some food as well. If you go to your Social Security office they can give you options and ideas and info on how to apply (I think you can apply there). Good Luck.
