Okay, I apologize for my own stupidity in advance...
I have only played SIMS on X Box and I was wondering how to go about getting it on my computer. Do I have to go but a CD thingy or can I download it free or what? And please keep in mind I'm a computer 'tard so laymans terms please. Thanks :)

If you mean The Sims or The Sims 2, just go to Best Buy (or check Half.com for cheaper prices) and purchase the CD. It takes about 30 minutes (max) to install on your computer. Pop the CD into your CD drive and the installer program will pop up automatically. You can even play a memory-type game while it installs! After it installs, you click "Play now" and that's it! Yay! Plus it's so much fun!! I have The Sims 2--all the expansion packs. There's something you don't get on XBox--Expansion packs. if yo have a dvd drive try putting it in and opening the game itself up by rightclicking and selecting explore and then coppy all of the files on there to your computer its simple then from there look for the application that says auto run or has the name of the game and then check if it works thats about the best i cna do

you have to buy the software in order to play the game. you will need the serial number on the back of the box in order to install it, so don't throw it out!

There are no stupid question, except yours. Yes you have to buy a seperate disc.
