In my opinion, no you cant. Then it was never love to begin with. Either the first person wasnt ur true love or the second person. Love is not love which alters. Sometime we say that this person is our true love to lie to ourselves to escape our guilt for the time being or we were just caught up in the moment. I think we over use the word "love" too much. Theres nothing wrong in saying we "like" someone even tho it sounds too simple!

I absolutely believe that, and although I'm not basing this from personal experience, I very much believe it to be true. I think it's merely a matter of opening your heart and soul to another human being, and not being afraid to take another chance on true love. If deep down, we are convinced that there is only one true love for us, then no matter how much we try to get past that, it probably isn't going to feel like true love as it did with our first true love. But, if we keep an open mind, with no preconceived ideas, then I think it's highly probable that we'll find true love again. :)

I probably should mention here, that I'm very much a dreamer at heart, so I may be viewed as a hopeless romantic, but hey, I will never mind being called that. Actually, I would much prefer to believe in something that may never happen, then to convince myself at the start, that there is no chance that it could ever happen.

Great question!

My regards to you, Kimberly! :)

Well according to what I believe about "true-love" there's supposed to be TWO soulmates for each person. And that one is a helper and the other teaches you a lesson in life.

Okay, thats off-topic.

Personally, I think true love is possible and that everything is meant to be so if your heart's right, it can happen twice.

I think that it depends on the situation! I don't think that we have 3 or 4 true loves I think that you may get two but only if 1 dies or something! I truly believe that we just get one true love and everything in between that is just practice!

Sure, Love is something you could meet new many times. It is like food . Have you ever tried something new and all of a sudden it's your new favorite dish. Because people can't be eveywhere they never know what the possibilities really are !

You better be able to, or I am in trouble.

I believe that there is no limit on on True Love. You can have many True Loves.

First Love is something entirely different.

Yes, I sure hope I can meet my second true love since my first true love passed on.

Definitely not, because once you have found absolute true love no-one would ever compare, you wouldn't even give anyone else, however perfect, the chance to come anywhere close to your true love.

an average person in their life time has 11 to 14 partners...some are better than others,,they're all true love relationships when we first meet them.. friendship has to be a main ingredient in true love...because once it's over all you have left is friendship...
