I'm not trinitarian so I believe that Jesus the son , God the father and the Holy Spirit are all separate. Just the same as I am not my daughter or son,, I'm their mother. They are my children. We all share common ground and are united as family, but we are separate entities.

If God was his son and vice versa.. why would Jesus pray to himself??? He wouldn't have to ask,, he;d just do.

There are three, but they are one. Read John 1:1-3 and 14. Also read John 14:16-18, which is speaking of the Holy Ghost as being the comforter. Then go to Acts 1:8. Christ is God in the flesh. The reason God had to come in the flesh is because God is a spirit and a spirit cannot die, thus to make the Will of God affective he had to die to redeem his people from their sins. By taking on flesh he was able to both die and resurrect himself, thus making the testament or Will in affect. This can be seen in Hebrews 9: 11-17. The Father is God.
Jesus is also God.
The Holy Spirit is also God.

There is one God, not three.

To elaborate: Jesus is the Son of God. He is not God because he is the Son of God; rather, He is God because He is the Word of God. He is also the Son of Man. Yes, the Head of Christ is God (meaning that the Father is the Head of the Son). Why? Well, it makes even earthly sense. Earthly fathers are the heads of their children. Similarly, in a way that we can understand, God the Father is the Head of Christ.

There is no contradiction, but you have to be very careful in the way you phrase these things, or confusion can result. I hope this cleared things up for you.

God bless.

Well first of all the Bible was not a fax sent down from heaven. It was writtten, edited and revised by man and you can bet anything written by mankind is about their own personal projection of reality. If you look back in history there have been claims by women of several virgin births. Ishtar - where the word Easter came from - the Egyptian Goddess Isis. Claims of a virgin birth have been around since the beginning of time. We are all sons and daughters of God.

Yeah.
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The three are One.

I only wonder what the Holy Spirit is.
Could it be Lucifer?

No, I don't believe that they are the same. They do share some similarities, though. Like every other god, they're both considered to be invisible beings with supernatural powers.

What's the difference if you need a "face" for your faith? Does it matter if it's God or Jesus? Or Virgin Mary for example?
