most definitely PHYSICS. In physics you learn a lot of chemistry and actually look at the underlying causes for a lot of chemical reactions and interactions. physics is so usefull because it describes the world that we live in. There are also a ton of things you can do with a physics degree, not to mention anyone that completes a physics degree is instantly respected and will be taken in just about anywhere. Physics is hard sometimes, but very usefull in everyday life and for a career path and pays off.

Biological Sciences - Demand is there, but not much ppl in that field. As time goes by, lots of ppl out there afraid of dying but obviouly they know there is going to be a price to pay for.
No matter you are in chemistry or physics or others, any accident happen thereof, still refer to doctor which in turn rely on biological sciences for curing....

Useful is relative. Reverse-engineer the problem, and it will be easier to answer.
First, think about what kinds of things you'd like to do in the working world. Next, look at what degree you'll need to attain that job.

Biological.....its important to know how your body works so that you are aware when and if there is a problem. You could also be a valuable scource of information and possibly life saving for someone who is ill and can tell you their symptoms you may know how to help them or if it is a crisis requiring a doctor.

Without a doubt, a degree in medicine will be the most useful. We live in a time of aging baby boomers so there will be a demand for physicians. Physicians on average makes $133,00-350,00 a year.
