Wow, that's a tough one. He actually believed what someone else said instead of believing you? Why doesn't he believe you? What did the other person say?
I cannot imagine how terrible you must feel. First he doesn't' want to listen to you - even though he has no reason to think you lied to him. Second he would believe someone else and actually leave you over it.
Has he been hurt like this in his past? Maybe that is what is causing this strong reaction. You need to try and talk to him - but don't whine and cry. Have an adult discussion about the whole issue. If he is not ready to listen to you then there is nothing left for you to try. You may have to kiss this relationship goodbye and find someone with less baggage.

Maybe (and I don't mean to hurt your feelings here, I'm just trying to suggest a possible answer) the real thing is for whatever reason, he is either (1) not happy in the relationship and he is using this as an excuse to get out of the relationship, or (2) he is cheating on you (again, sorry, don't mean to hurt your feelings) and feels guilty about cheating on you, but now has a convenient excuse to use to get out of the relationship and make it look like your fault. I hope this makes some sort of sense to you and helps in some way. If he doesn't trust you when you have never given him a reason not to, and he is going to believe what someone else said over your word, maybe it's time to look for a new man.Take care and best of luck to you.

It hurts because you really love him. when you love someone and they do not believe you or believe in you, it hurts very much. Now, if he is willing to leave you over what someone else says with no proof in the pudding then he wanted to leave all alone and did not know how to do it and this was his way out . Baby gurl, give him up and go find you a real diamond because he turned out to be a coal. Don't hang on to someone who was only there to teach you a lesson, he was not meant to be in your life for a life time. he is like a leaf on a tree. they weather and die throughout the season. Find you a root that will nourish your tree for a life time.

In the first place it sounds to me your man doesnt trust you,trust being the keyword maybe that isnt the reason he wants to leave you maybe this is just an easy way out for him or maybe he has something to hide himself and it hurts because you love him but it may be best to let him go especially if he doesnt believe a word you say that means theres no trust in your relationship.

It hurts when anybody doesn't trust you...especially when you ARE telling the truth. Having someone leave over second hand information is a little irrational though and there has to be more behind it. Either he's got a reason not to trust you, or he, himself, has something to hide and is using this as an easy way out.

it hurt you so bad because you know you are telling the Truth and you thought he would believe you but he don't all that is their was no trust in the beginning if he is going to leave you over he said she said he is the man for you

Ur man has issues that you can't solve for him Sounds like a control freak....
Even though he is wrong on this issue.....maybe it's a blessing in disguise....you can do better and you'll find someone who will make you 10x more happy. Life is too short to be stuck with a steaming pile of dung!!

Why does it hurt??? Because you know he doesn't trust you. If he doesn't trust you then you can't have a relationship. You feel he has insulted your character.
From the little you have written, it seems as though he might be using this incident as an excuse. Someone who loves and trusts you would talk it out and wouldn't treat you this way.

you need to find a way to prove to him you're telling the truth. can anyone else back you up? If he's not believing you turn the tables. tell him you don't want to be with someone that has no trust with you. you deserve better. good luck

it's 4 the best anyone willing to dump you at the drop of a hat was never totally into you anyway. He may be making it up just to have a REASON to be a scum bag to you "I've seen my brother make up reasons to break up and lol about it".
