Is he a drug addict or alcoholic? He seem to have those traits. If the answer is yes, what took you so long and why did you have a child with him, why did you give your son a father that wont be available to him. How old are you? You sound like you have self esteen issues. Leave boyfriend and make sure you register for child support garnishment services in your state. You are free!!! enjoy. Go to therapy, find new friends, spend alot of time with your son and family.

Sounds like you're well on your way to getting over him - you're taking steps to make your life better. Having respect for yourself and taking care of your son will keep you on the right track. Spend time with friends and try to focus on learning something new - dwelling on the past will not make it better.

It takes awhile to heal. I was married the first time for 17 years, and it had become like a habit. I was crushed when we split up, then after time passed, I got with someone else, and we got married, and I've been married to him 13 years now, and it's like we're newlyweds still. Just give yourself time to heal.

you can't get over him..... you go beyond him.....you have to look at it this way....this is your life that he's fu*king up....your the one who's gonna have a heart attack... your the one who's head in gonna hurt..... and your the one you son will say.... you stayed mommy... i wouldn't if i were you.... your not just living for you anymore .... its about what best for your son.... and you.... would you want your son seeing you cry and being hurt all the time....
you would not want it for him so why yourself...... you did the right thing........... love is not hard to find ... its hard to keep....it takes two to play the game right....
your far to good of a person to every be treated the way he treated you.... your a blessed child stay that way...

Slowly, but surely... don't deny your feelings, but get your "support systems in order so you can really make the break and find someone who really appreciates you. Yes, check online dating services or compatability websites... you'll eventually find someone you can be happy with.
