Does anyone like Dire Straits? Mark Knopfler? I think he is one of the most amazing singers and guitar players ever. He just has a style all his own.

Well hell yes whats not to like about dire straits? I think the true meaning of bands and when they are legends is when they are doing live concerts and the crowd actually sings there song without even asking them too thats amazing and also when you can't get sick of there music my dad played queen and supertramp alot i still do all the time never get sick of it maybe give it a break for 2 days and back into it.Phill Collins is amazing!

One of my favorite Dire Straits songs is "So Far Away From Me." I love the line "....I'm tired of making out on the telephone...when you're so far away from me." Not to mention that the guitar work at the end of that song is just amazing.

My dad does so by extension I grew up with them a bit... they are fine, not my favorites though.
