Nope. Too worried about illegals and gas prices and what Hollywood is up to.

And don't worry about earthquakes, when the big one hits, everything east of the Rockies is going to fall into the Atlantic!

I hope so. Ten years ago one almost hit Southern California (Hurricane Linda) coming up from the south, but died out. With the increasing intensity of hurricanes, it's definitely a possibility that one could hit in the near future.

The current is coming out of the Gulf of Alaska, and its cold until mid Baja. There just isn't enough heat to sustain a hurricane. The exception is the Gulf of California. Its possible a storm could cross the 50 miles to the Imperial Valley.

Technically we do occassionally have hurricanes and tornadoes. I believe that due to the actual geographic state of the ocean floor and the nice trophs we learned about in our 4th grade Oceanography classes, it is terribly unlikely (even with global warming) that we would see a hurricane of Katrina size here...at least in Southern California.

California dont need to worry about hurricanes, u guys needa worry more about Tsunamis and Earthquakes.

We are ready if the world start to turn the other way.

More than likely, we won't be worrying because all the ice melt and we are under water and becomes islands.

Doubtful. Highly doubtful. I lived there for 5 years and every time it rained you'd have thought tar was falling from the sky. They had a very hard time with El Nino.

i live in california the only hurricane that ever made it was a weak one so i guess this one will just fade away.

They don't get hurricane's in California they get typhoons
