I know, happens to me too. use everlast from maybelline. maybe, your skin type needs different make-up. I use a lot of powder. no wonder why! YOU NEED FOUNDATION!!! Tinted is just what is it..moisturizer!. It's not heavy like foundation. Get a foundation with a SPF!
oily skin=liquid foundation
hyperpigmented skin=stick foundation
dry skin=creme foundation
combo skin=whipped foundation.

You might want to consider using a PRIMER. Once you wash your face, apply a regular, daily moisturizer, then apply the primer. The primers sets the pallet for your make up and will help maintain it's longevity. I know the heat & humidity is really bad in Florida, I am in Lower Alabama, and it is bad here as well. I would not use the tinted moisturizer with this primer, I would suggest changing to a sheer foundation to use on top of the primer, and do not use your tinted moisturizer under your primer. You sound as though you are taking great care of your skin, so try the regular moisturizer and primer with a normal sheer foundation. I have used a primer for a few years now, and it really heps. ALSO, I would suggest switching to a loose, colorless, translucent powder, this will help keep your face set. Use the powder once you have finished BUT before you apply mascara & lip color. If you are not particular about brands, Sally Hansen(in drug stores & Walmart) makes a great Translucent powder, with Cornsilk in it, get the NO COLOR!!!! I have used it for 20+ years!!! It blends with ALL SKIN TONES!!! I also use VITAL RADIENCE primer, then the rest of my makeup is Clinique.

I've found I have the same problem. So far, what lasts the longest for me is Revlon Colorstay foundation and Bobbi Brown cream blushes. Powder blush/bronzer just slides right off on me. I also use Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector AND Lola Refine Prime as primers. I'd say I get a good 5 hours out of the blush, and 12+ from the others.

A primer is a good way to go but if your going for a natural no makeup look by wearing makeup its easier to use a moisturizer that helps keep makeup on. I use clean and clear products before putting on my makeup and I make sure NOT to touch my face with my fingers while applying any makeup. The oil in my hands makes the makeup slide off so I use sponges and applicators (I change them weekly, they are so inexpensive) and then dust corn starch on my face when I'm finished with my face powder, this locks it in and keeps it on and then I use a mixture of my loose face powder and cornstarch throughout the day, it keeps my face shine free and on all day and into the night.

I have an easy answer... don't wear so much makeup. Not only is it bad for your skin, but too much tends to cake up and wear off. Apply a foundation and a pressed powder. I'm sure you're beautiful without the make up so don't try to impress anyone by wearing it. I used to do that and my last few years I wear a little foundation and powder & some eyeliner.

if u have dark skin try not wear foundation just eyeshadow and the rest of your makeup because natural beauty is the best and if u r a student i don't see why u need a lot plus it makes your skin look old in the long run if u don't clean your face good, it will allow oils to come out your face and your makeup wont stay on good;good luck i use almay i love it .it is a little bit high but i fine that it stays on me longer than other brands i had that problem at one time plus i have oily skin a little bit

I live in Florida, too and have had to change my whole makeup regime because the summers are so crazy hot. I found that changing my moisturizer really helped a lot. I now use La Mer and it really helps. I also stopped using liquid foundation. I am now using Bare Minerals powder foundation and as weird as it sounds, it looks great and doesn't sweat off. Good luck!

I have combination skin and I have the same problem.
Wet/Dry foundation by Beauticontrol is specifically for oily to combination skin. You can put it on dry for a natural look, damp for a more flawless look, and you can use the same compact as a powder throughout the day.
Prepare your face before putting on makeup. Always cleanse and tone well to remove oils and dead skin. A nice pallet makes makeup look better.
You may still get shiney using this makeup but it will still be on your face eight hours later. Just pat on some more from the compact if you get shiney six hours later.
I love the stuff and it hasn't caused me to break out either.
I use the All Clear acne skin care set...It has eliminated all my acne. The key is to use it everyday non-stop, especially at night before you go to bed. NEver go to bed with a dirty face.
This company also sells makeup in sets. You can by just the color sets with shadow, liner, lipstick, blush and lip pencil. OR you can buy a complete makeup set with foundation, coverup, shadow, blush, lipstick, lip liner, and eye liner.
I love the Park Avenue Princess color set. It's pretty and pink. For a more subtle everyday look I like the Lox and Bagels it's on the peach side. Very nice and easy to apply.
Try the Wet/Dry though. It's $21 but it's lasts for 4 to 6 months. And don't believe the garbage about not keeping makeup for more than a month. The only thing you need worry about when it comes to bacteria is your mascara. Anyone that tells you to throw out foundation, shadow, or blush after a month is misinformed or just trying to make more money selling you product before you need it.
You can also mix makeup. I find that if I spend my money on the cover up and foundation, I can scrimp on the rest.
Wet/Dry foundation and Extra Help Concealer. I use the concealer under my eyes, on uneven places on my face. If I want a more flawless look, I use a small amount on all the above places and a thin amount across my cheeks. Apply foundation dry over that for a nice natural look that doesn't look like a china doll.
Good luck!!! Contact a Beauticontrol consultant in your area by going to the Beauticontrol homepage or visit my web site
beautipage.com/sacevedo (I send rebates for on-line orders in the mail.) Or e-mail me from my beautipage for more information.
I lived in SC most of my life and I know what it's like to find good makeup to last in that heat and humidity.

I know you have a bunch of answers but I'll add mine anyways. I recently went to CVS and got something called "finishing powder" by Dermablend in their Vichy section by the cosmetics. Its this white powder you dab on your face and let set for about 5 minutes. Then you take a large brush and dust the rest off. I've had my make-up last all day so far. It really works! And that was during the heat/humidity here in New England too!

There are two things you need to do: First, there are towellettes you can purchase at ANY store selling beauty products that remove oil from your face. You just press the cloth against your skin (and you can use it when wearing the makeup). When you sweat, just blot with one of these towellettes. Second, you need to change your own personal habits. I guarantee you touch your face frequently. You wipe your forehead, cheeks, rub your eyes, etc. Stop doing that. Just blot your face with tissue if you don't have a towellette, and NEVER stroke the skin. Only blot.

Set it with loose powder, not pressed. Get a large powder brush and apply it over your foundation. Set with 3 minutes in front of cool air like from the a/c or open the freezer and use the air from that.
Try not to touch your face a lot and use tissues to "blot" oil and perspiration outdoors.
Good luck!!!
