Lady D without a Doubt a princess of the people and who managed to overcome her shyness and bring the Monarchy into the modern Age where previously it was ruled by protocol and endanger of becoming outdated and stifling. She married a man who showed her very little love and rejected her by having an affair with a woman who was a sexual predator with no compassion or feeling of guilt for destroying a marriage.
Diana was a Queen of hearts and will live forever in our memories as a champion of charities and caring individual who could succeed when she was expected to fail. A tragedy of tragedies was her death and lets hope Prince Michael will follow in footsteps and become a great King.

Diana is dead so rather a pointless question. Camilla will never be queen but at least she's always waited patiently, she and her man have always been loyal to each other, and she isn't some pseudo fairy princess with a penchant for neurosis and flaunting her many affairs in public. As for Charles' one affair which the world knew about long before Diana arrived on the scene agreeing to provide an heir, he was only doing what all royals have done since royalty began...nothing to shout about. And as he ultimately married her, that's what I call a real happy ending. Don't judge a book by its cover, look beyond a pretty face.
