what else could our countries have done instead of accepting homosexuality?

These are such difficult questions....I wished they would have let things as they were and focus on the same rights in all countries instead of marriage here and murder there. I am tired of the eastern world, and of the western too. Those ******* differences...extremes...Whatever, I am schizophrenic, and I don't believe that my voices come from "demons" or whatever, I believe I am being politically persecuted. And I dont give a **** about people who laugh at me when I say that, but once again, I hope that some politician reads these words and changes the world for the better, because I am tired of the world like that. So, please, politicians do me a favor and work towards equality and not what you are working for right now - extremes. Forget that whole same sex marriage ****. and start caring about the real issues. Yes, you homosexual out there too, you and your rights, you go on my ******* nerves. You care about YOUR rights only while in other countries people really suffer. **** YOU.

it's YOU, the people in the US. Do you think you are the only country that matters on this planet or what?

HA HA HA, I need a hobby. why? because I care about the problems of this world? is it better to go shopping and **** on the people that are in trouble?

I agree that the US and our politicians waste a lot of time and energy continuing to defend discriminatory practices that should have ended in the last century. It is not the fault of LGBT people that this continues. Our politicians could amend the Equal Rights Amendment to include sexual orientation and move on to other substantiate issues. That they don't makes it a human rights issue. I will not ever agree that the US should take care of the rest of the world before it takes care of its own people! And, I do not mean just LGBT folks either.

I also do not believe that the US should be the world police. We suck at the role, and there is no making everyone happy.

If you don't like your country, do what you can to improve it. If you can't improve it, emigrate.

On a more personal note, if you really do have schizophrenia, stick with the meds and try not to blindly hate. That's a tough illness, and I have a lot of respect for those who manage their lives well with it. Despite what some folks have said here, I believe that you have just as much right to an opinion as anyone else. I just happen to adamantly disagree with it.

Well, do you feel better after venting? I certainly hope so. Now I will have my say: First and foremost, it is not MY problem that these people in other countries are starving. Yes, I care, but it's not my problem. My problem is right here in my own Country, where people are starving, where people come here to live and be free from people like you.

Why do you care if someone is married to the same sex. What does this have to do with your life. I think that they should have equal rights. Yes I said it. Why not? Why should their partners not have a say when one is sick and they can't find out from the Dr.'s whats wrong with the one they love, because they are not married nor are they family. I think it is wrong that we can not give some of these couples the recognition that they are a couple and they deserve every tax benefit, every insurance benefit, employers benefit, that we as heterosexuals get. It is so wrong that the partners get cheated out of their partners benefits in general... I say make SAME SEX MARRIAGES legal....and leave them alone to live their lives.

are you kidding? we only focus on us while people in other countries suffer? do you know how many of us have died trying to help people in iraq? i may not agree with the war we are fighting but i am pretty sure we are trying to help people.

why should we spend our time helping you with your psychological disorder? you can get medication and feel just fine. gay people suffer every single day to try and get the same rights as other people. there are thousands of hospitals across the country geared solely towards helping you. stop whining. you do NOT have it that bad.

im not gay but i would defend a gay person i think people should have a right to be watever they choose to be. why should that bother u if they are not bothering u? 60% of marriages end up in divorce so its safe to say that people in the US end up miserable i think gay people should have the right to be as misarable as any straight person.
