Did Tom deserve what?
Ok, I checked out the news story. I have no idea if he "deserved" it or not. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, myself. Never have been, and especially not after all his silly ranting about scientology and psychiatry. On the other hand, if this Sumner guy responded to the wishes of his wife, that sounds like a frivolous reason to fire someone. If, however, he fired Tom because of money lost on movies, well, I dunno. I guess that's how Hollywood works. I disagree with Tom Cruise. I consider him a bit of a freak. But that's only my OPINION, and I certainly don't wish ill fortune on him.

Well I understand why the movie studio let him go but I really don't think he deserved that. It doesn't bother me one way or the other. I saw the Oprah episoed and that didn't boter me. If he is in a movie and if the story looked good I would go see it. I think what a person does off the time clock should be that persons own buisness

That is their mistake. He still rakes in the big buck and will do well with what ever he does. I personally could care less what others think about him. I enjoy his work and have for along time
