Most hard wood floors have a very hard finish on them to take the punishment of everyday use. Depending on how old the drops are you can try a hard sharp plastic scraper. Carefully scrape at the drops at an angle as close to level with the floor surface trying not to dig into the flooring. After removing the bulk of the spot try a good wood cleaner like Murphy's oil soap concentrated to take off any residue left behind.

There are many products to remove paint, most are messy and hard to use. I use Krud Kutter, Kmart sells it. It is water based and will do the job. It will ruin your floor if left on long enough. If the paint is fresher than the floor finish you won't have a problem. This is water based so keep a wet rag handy to neturalize it's effect after the paint comes off. I use a pocket knife to gently scrape at the paint after spraying and letting the Krud Kutter set for a few minutes. If the paint still feels hard, spray it again and wait a little longer

my wife used Greased lightning Blast orange powered cleaner. It can be purchased at Wal-Mart automotive section. She sprays it on and leaves for a minute then rubs it off, sometimes if it real hard to get off she will use a Scotch-Brite pad with the cleaner.Good Luck
