1st- is there a cheat to make the maximum # of people in the house over 8?
2nd- is there a way to see how much longer a sim will be pregnant?

It's just three days. When they get their first bump on the belly, you expect two more days left. On the next day, the bump gets bigger. The last day is when baby is born.

You can speed the pregnancy with the tombstone of life and death, If you do that, don't leave the cheat running in the game, but turn it off after using the cheat.

Be careful since cheats can change the way the game operates and can give glitches or weird behavior and can sometimes corrupt the lot you are playing. Playing without cheats is safer (although you may still get glitches from time to time)

You can't make the maximum number of the people in your house over 8, but there's one cheat in the above site that allows you to invite more people to your parties.

Pregnancy in the Sims 2 lasts for only three Sim days. ( http://db.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/sims_2_d.txt ) Just count the days when your Sim got pregnant. There's also a cheat that may allow you to see extra information on the first site.

2.when a sim gets pregnant the first day they should be running to the bathroom to throw-up in the toilet.The 2nd day they should start getting bigger. Then sometime time on the third day they should have the baby.
