If you are in your late teens or above.......most likely is some kind of sexually motivated depression.......Sex is not only for reproducing offspring.......it also produces natural balancing body chemicals.......which balance our bodies and minds...which is lacking when we become clinically depressed........move over prozac

I was diagnosed with depression about 6 months ago, it first went from those moods your talking about that almost made me lose my job and i was slowly not talking to any family or friends... there are alot of things you can do, for me it took not eating and getting dehydrated and rushed to the hospital... then I saw a counselor for about three months, that helped me alot, having someone to tell anything to that wont tell anyone.. i mean you can trust someone, but its easier to trust someone that does that for a living, not tell anyone what you say...

that helps alot and also try this, opn a notepad on your computer and type every thought you have, bad and good and dont edit it, just keep typing as fast as you can and are thinking it, try thinking about things that bug you or you feel bad about, ill bet there are alot more than you think.. I did that everyday before i went to the counselor or hospital, it helped my counselor figure out my problems and showed her how I was when it was all going through my head and not what i remember when i was seeing her...

even if you dont see a counselor typing helps, after your done read it a few times and see if you are thinking wrong or try to think of what other ways you can think of it... depression has to do with certian chemicals going to the brain, if you dont get enough of one then you cant think right and can get headaches often, that is what my depression is and I am taking a generic pill for it that costs $25 a month without insurance, almost free with insurance, it can help alot, even if you take it only for awhile to get rid of some of the stress in your life

remember sleep helps alot too, i had to resort to a sleeping aid pill to get some sleep, i would ask your pharmasist if you are taking any meds if you can take a sleeping aid with them and when you have a day off from school or work, like a friday night then take one, make sure to not make any plans the next day, as i found out the pill has different effects on everyone, i slept for 16 hours when i took one, i would reccomend finding an aid that you take two as a normal dose and just take one. sleep is a big part of it, then after that you can work on getting the stress out of your life...

if none of that helps then go to a doctor and tell him how you are feeling, it could be something else alltogether, my father had a hernia that had made him depressed, but whatever it is, i wish you the best of luck

One of the things the therapist told my husband was do things that you used to enjoy even if you do not want to do them. I had to drag him to an event that we did every year He did not want to go He was depressed and just didn't care. I made him go. He did admit in the car going home that he had a good time. Funny, I couldn't tell it while we were there but after that he started to perk up.
I get in those moods too. and the best thing to do is count your blessings and talk to a friend. Go for a soda or go see a movie that you know you would like. We ar\ll get this way and the dark cloud will go away. It will come back and it will go away...........

I was feeling really down a couple of nights ago, for no reason. I am almost always happy or normal, but I just was in a real blue mood.

What worked for me is that I laid down and slept for a couple hours... it basically went away.

I noticed that a couple nights ago I was realyl low on sleep.

There is a direct correllation to how muchsleep you get and how easily you can get irritated or sad about things that normally wouldn't bother you. Get some sleep!

Has something happened recently? To make you feel down? If not, it may be the time of yr. It happens to me, schools back in session, the weather is changing.

Cheer up, just think, it could be worse. Life is temporary, enjoy it while you can. Get out there and do something, read a good book, watch a good movie. Go get yourself a milkshake, get your pjs on and curl up on the couch and enjoy yourself, Think positive, forget the negative. Think happy thoughts. I know its easier said than done, but try it.

I know the feeling tho, it can be tough. but....Cheer up YOU!

what i do is having lots of laughter with my family and friends, n just enjoy life one step at a time. I go to school, at the same time prep for my LSAT exam n try to juggle them both, not to mention have to read 13 books for one sunject, its a pain. My suggestion to u is, just step away from all of ur work n just take a day off just for u n not have guilt trips that's what i try to do at times, which seems to work fine!! Best of luck to u!!

When I'm down and nothing else works I watch The Kid or some other inspiring movie.
Then have a bath and go to bed.
I dunno-it's hard.
