NO. Jimmy Carter had one major problem when he was president. Honesty. Unfortunately he believed those in power at the time were also honest, honorable people. Personally speaking I thinking the Naive award of the Century would be a better awar for him.

You forgot potatoe farmer....

but you know I think the dee de dee award should go to Al Gore, who claims to be inventor of the internet and that global warming will terraform earth into Venus... oh yeah, he's a winner...

THanks be to God that he did not win the 2,000 elections...

the way I see it things would be allot worse with either Gore or two-sided Kerry... than with Bush by a longshot...

I'd rather have an unpopoular man that's not good with words, than a popular talk alot and do nothing bench warmer for president... wouldn't you?

God bless...

I just think Jimmy Carter is a peaceful man. And he is a country boy, so I find
it hard to believe he plays favorites. I always felt he is a fair man. And he was
a good, respectable President.

As far as US officials (ignoring idiots from other countries), I'd vote for that. For the 20th century.

That still leaves many in the current administration to compete for the 21st century award.

Besides wondering what you are smoking, I have nothing to add to this. Jimmy Carter is not a genius but I'd take him over GWB any day!
