I live at the shore in NJ and I watched the Twin Towers go down from the beach by my house

About a 6 months before Katrina hit the MS Gulf Coast, my husband and I made love in the broad open daylight on the beach. No one was around but it was so exciting!

Imagine this...
My best friend and I were on the Kapalua Bay beach in Maui. The sand there is not white, it is brown. Blue water, blue sky, perfect temperature, cool breeze, frilly drinks with toys in them, private beach chairs... Mountains to the left of us, not crowded, it was the perfect beach experience. Only one thing would have made it more perfect..... ;-)

I went to the beach all by myself on my 30th birthday. It was fun. It certainly beat staying home being depressed and I got cool shells and pics.
Not what you were expecting I assume. :)
