In a place hidden, where you can show it off only if you want to.
My pet peeve is to see someone in a professional environment with a tattoo hanging out. Very inappropriate.
I advise to put it on your shoulder blade, neck, lowerback, hip.
But again thats just my opinion.
A word to the wise: A tat is permanent, so make it tasteful and make sure you want to live with it for the rest of your life !!!

Where it will be the least painful and least likely to leave a visible scar once you come to your senses and have it removed...

I've got a rose on my ear, at the top is the rose and the stem trails down my ear to the bottom. And it did not hurt. I have 13 tats and all of them can be covered if I don't want them to be seen, the rose though on my ear I get the most compliments on, most people say they never seen one there. My freind who is part Indian has a feather on her ear.

I guess where ever your heart desires, I do know one thing on the lower back hurts like crazy when they are done there other than that I don't know where to tell you to get one. What about on your breast or on your arm somewhere.

This isn't going to answer your question I'm afraid but I wanted to tell you that there's this tattoil that's awesome for after you get one. It keeps the tat from scabbing. Fairly inexpensive too!

someplace where it won't cost you bucks to get it removed when you realize it is a bad idea. Like 666 inside your hair. It's funny and you can show it to whoever you want and no one else. Like hey it itches here can you see what it is.

Your body location is your personal choice... but get it at a tattoo parlor by a licensed tattoo artist.
