To avoid bumps!
Shave, wet your legs with hot water. As hot as you can tolerate it. Shaving bumps are caused by shaving over the skin pores when they are closed. Hot water or steam opens the pores.

Use After shave to close the pores after shaving and use pure cocoa butter and shea butter mix with vitamin E oil.

Try a product called bikini zone. It will soothe the irritation and get rid of the bumps! They also make a shave gel it helps too! Wonderful product I don't shave without either one! It's not very expensive...you can get it at most drug stores and i think i've seen it at walmart.it's about $5 or $6.

Get this shaving oil and you will love it! It's inexpensive and there is never any redness or bumps or burn from the razor. One bottle lasts forever and it smells so good! Shave sideways not against or with the hair and it works!

Try hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. Apply it and let it soak in while you wash you hair and stuff. It will allow the hair to get softer, and wont cause as many bumps afterwards.

I used to have the same problem when I shave my balls. I just use rubbing alcohol before and after shaving. I think its just irritation from not cleaning the razor and skin before shaving. I also like to use aloe shaving gel and not foam.

Maybe you are allergic to the shaver you are using, try a different one and use a good lady's shaving cream. It's never good to dry shave ...I think its important to use a good lotion afterwards too. Vaseline creamy (sounds gross but isn't) is a very good lotion to soften and heal too. Good luck:)

A woman I know uses some product for this. It's sold where the waxes and creams are. I'm sorry I don't remember what she called it, but I know there's help for you!

go to Sephora.com or any sephora store near you, if there isn't one you can at least see what the product looks like online!!
it's called Tendskin. it's kind of like a rubbing alcohol, but with a bit less burn. it really helps lessen redness and razorburn. it's not super expensive. check it out....blue bottle
