I totally would. He is definitely a genius, and could make our country, and the world, way better.

President of WHAT?
If you mean United States..
this would depend on if "i" BELIEVED, that he was intelligent enough, in world issues, to see the Big picture, not just the immediate picture.
Also, who really knows who will be good, we only know what we read or hear right?
WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT, IF GOD, WOULD VOTE, AND EXPLAIN TO AMERICANS WHO HE PICKED AND WHY?
ii have a great imagination,, but that would be a better approach, because WHO KNOWS?
Bill Gates, i know very little about.. if he cared about the country, and really wanted to build, up, repair, teach, and
help man (especially the poor and uneducated man) GET a fair chance at the life he desired, and if he could balance
all the other issues, to the satisfaction of the people, then yes,
i would vote for him
ONE MORE THING THOUGH, I WOULD HAVE TO FILE FOR CITIZENSHIP FIRST, AS I AM FROM CANADA,,

Are we assuming he's running against either Bush or a Bush crony? Because I'd vote for a skunk sandwich before I'd vote for any of those guys. I don't believe anyone in the world should be able to become as rich as Bill Gates has when little kids are dying of malnutrition. And of course he has zero qualifications. That said, as mega-gazillionaires go, we could do a lot worse than Bill. His heart's clearly in the right place. If he were up against Hillary, it would be a difficult choice!

You no doubt know more about Bill Gates than I do. I thought James Carter was a humanitarian genius too. But his Administration could have gone better for him than it did. Somebody smack dab in between these two polar opposites would be nice.

that would be very interesting to see if Bill Gates actually tried to run for President... I'd probably vote for him.
The same thing goes with Oprah, since she's so well-known, she may have a good chance too if she gave it a try.

Nope.
He has stolen many of his 'creations' from other people.
He forces people to use products that are crap, and sometimes not even allow them to make a choice about change them for something better.
With Bill, USA will have a politic of conformism.
_ _ _
Not American, but if I were, I wouldn't vote for him.

I'd rather vote for Rice. She's smarter than that thief, Gates.
