You'd have to be pretty smart to recognize both the endangered plant and the endangered animal, in which case you would know what to do.
I'd say it has to do with the overall quantity of each and the reproduction ease.

it doesnt happen i dont know of any endangered plants that an animal will eat ,most of them are trees or palms.
although there are some rare herbs ,but they are way in the jungle ,and you will never see them
and if it does happen the animal is worth more than the plant

It depends upon the animal (if it can eat me or hurt me) I do not want to be its next endangered meal!
