I never really ate a lot while pregnant. I had heart burn too bad for one thing, so I would just eat a little at a time. I don't think there is anything wrong with you as long as your doc isn't concerned!

im 9 months pregnant and i dont eat alot. my boyfriend litterally gets mad at me that i dont. but if youre not hungry then youre not hungry. i didnt with my first baby either. infact, the past couple weeks ive only gained 2 lbs when they say that this is the time you gain the most. but my doc said the baby is healthy so thats all that counts. i never really have cravings either. maybe once in a while ill feel like have a certain kind of food but nothing crazy like pickles and ice cream like some say they crave...ewww...lol but everyone is different i suppose. if youre concerned about the health of your baby just talk to the doctor. maybe they will give you an ultra sound to see how the baby is growing. but make sure that what you are eating is healthy. thats the most important thing. especially dairy food cause the baby needs the calcuim to build up his/her bones. good luck to you and congrats!!!

With my first one I eat about the same and only had cravings in the last couple months, my second one I eat like a pig even before i knew and was eating weird food. So every pregnancy is different. As long as you are gaining the right amount of weight don't worry about it and if there was something wrong the doc would let you know. Good luck

I really couldn't eat a lot...I always had morning sickness in the beginning. Then there wouldn't be a lot of room later on. Although I did have cravings and try to use being pregnant as an excuse if I wanted to try and eat more...which would usually cause a tummy ache from being too full.

People that are pregnant tend to eat more because they need more calories because their organisms are shaping a new life and body, it relates also to the constant change in moods the body's best self reward would always be its primary need: being feed. Now not all pregnant women eat as much as others, is not a matter of "how much to eat" it's more a "what to eat" The only person who can tell you how your baby is and how well balanced is your current diet is your gynecologists.

I didn't eat much more than normal, but I did crave normal things a lot more strongly, mostly fruit in the summer. I am sure your baby and you are both healthy. Each pregnancy is different, if you have another child in the future you may just be craving strange things. My cousin craved dill pickles with her daughter as did her mother with her. My mom wanted lemon pie with me and cinnamon buns with my sister. My other cousin was craving fruit, then tuna and pears, she can't stomach chocolate in any form now though.

I didn't eat a lot in the beginning, but starting around the 5th month or so, I started eating a ton of food :) I gained 40-45 lbs each time with all three of my kids! Luckily I lost it all though or just think, I would be 120 lbs overweight now lol

Some people do eat more then others. I am 5 months and I am eating more then normally. But that is me. As long you are doing okay weight wise and your doctor thinks everything is going okay then be lucky you don't crave weird things like myself.

no. not all. Some pregnant people believe in the myth about eating for 2, which only makes you gain more weight.
