I thought they were awful. Of course, they haven't been that great in awhile. But this years was terrible. I was so bored the entire time.

VMA'S 2006 sucked big time!!!!
they were way to boring, couldn't Christina do one of her more happy songs!
Video of the Year also sucked big time!
PS: does anyone know who that black guy was up on stage with the winners for the Video of the Year?

I concur! Like you said... they've been getting worse every year, but this year took the cake. I had to watch them because I was supposed to take a consumer survey on it... they were so bad, I had to shut them off.
Boring is bad enough, but this was just akward.
Jack Black did a horrible job of hosting, that little clip with Kevin & Britney was pathetic, and AAR came on stage drunk... or so it appeared to me.
This only adds on to the fact that MTV no longer seems to have any music on it. It seems that its not really MTV anymore, if that's case, they should stop pretending to be a music-oriented TV station.
But hey, what do I know - I'm just a part of the millenial generation, which happens to be their prime target audience... go figure.

Jack Black SUCKS! He wasn't humorous in any respect. I cherished Shakira's performance althought it extremely pissed me off to understand that Wyclef wasn't making a music in any respect, why can not that guy music stay? If every person watched the 2006 FIFA international Cup, and also you believe you studied the hollow act, think ofyou've got observe that Wyclef wasn't making a music in any respect.

It must've sucked because I completely FORGOT ABOUT THEM!!!!
I missed it. I guess I'll have to watch it when they rerun the crap out of it. There isn't much going on in Music right now so the VMA's are going to suck.

yea, it sucked bad. I think the only performance that was good was the intro with Justin, but everything else was really bad. Some of the people that won, I thought shouldn't.

me too it was an absolute mess. jack black wasnt that funny. plus who the heck are the REMBLANTS or whoever they were. their music sucked. it was just jack black doing something stupid then someone comes out to give the awards out then a stupid performance or the remblants again. the whole thing was a joke.

They were ok in the beginning they werent as horrible as ppl are saying on here. Did u see that crasher? that was entertaining! i like seeing the security take him away, and panic! at the disco saying it was planned lol funny.
