Has anyone ever had a literacy coach in high school?

Do they have their own classrooms? Do they help teachers out? Any information would be great! =)

I haven't heard of them in High Schools but I have in Elementary schools and yes they usually have their own rooms, but they also sometimes just help students who are having troubles in the classroom as well.
