I do not really need a million dollars, although it would be nice to have, what I really need to know is how to get out of financial destitution and into financial independence.

I'd recommend a career on Wall St. I retired at 39, but I had a little more than a million.

Be warned - 80 hours/week is the norm. To get farther ahead, you have to work even more.

Stop spending more money than you make. This means you can either 1) make more money or 2) spend less money. I know this sounds stupidly simple, but it is the main problem most people have.

sell crack to school kids and corner the market while they're young. over a few years you'll earn plenty of money and gain financial independence.

do you really think anyone would tell you on here ? if you do please let me know as i have oceanfront property in phoenix and a bridge in brooklyn with toll booths for sale and you seem like a really hip,shrewd, and savvy type of a person - not .
