Pop It on pogo games.. is it better to start at the top or bottom and pop.. need some good advice for the game

Here's what I do

Start from bottom left, or right. Then look for balloons that can be popped with horzontal connectors. Pop those from the bottom up. You don't have to worry about the up and down connected balloons as they will stay connected.

One thing I always look out for is to alway click the bottom most horizontal connections.

So in this layout below I would click the Gs then the Bs then the Ys then the Rs.

Another strategy that some use is to click as many of just one color first. Then use a similar strategy as the one I mentioned above.
