I liked avatars until after picking one 4 months ago that nobody was using and suddenly everyone had my same look so I made my own.

Well...I don't care for the avatars, but it looks like the majority of the people do. I think it's a great way for people to express themselves and to be creative. :0)

I like to switch back and forth from the avatar to a picture just to make it interesting

I'm not a little people, I have a mind tha tis always spoken. Either is fine, but all should have a height limit. I think it is fun to try and come as close to what you look like as possible.

I prefer avatars, since I don't really want to post my own photo in public... and I'm not going to put someone else's, no thanks.
