The answer is very simple, what you want, you do not want to work hard for it, your very comfortable with your current state. Although sacrifices must be made in order for you to achieved this goal you want, but your not willing to make the sacrifice which is required. In reality you do want it badly because what you want is not what you think you want is what you know you want. Your operative is "want what i THINK i want then why am I not more motivated to get it". How bad do you want it? Now go get it and remember No Pain No Gain. The will to act once your soul knows what it wants and not your mind then you will be ready to break that barrier.

Laziness is one, fear of dissappointment is another.
Sometimes being comfortable for too long has that effect on you in that you've felt "safe" in your current situation that a certain change would not be good.
For others though a change is welcomed I guess they adapt better than most, my thoughts anyway.

Some people are afraid of failure, some people feel they aren't smart enough to achieve what they want. But chances are, you are like millions of other people who are willing to desire something, but are just too lazy to achieve something
Maybe you REALLY WANT it , but you also REALLY WANT someone to just give it to you
