I've used Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox... but I know there are others. Which one is the best overall?

I like MozillaFirefox, but it is not accepted everywhere.
You actually need a couple, including Internet Explorer
to be able to go to different web-sites.

Firefox is currently the best browser out there since it offers many different extensions and add-ons. You may have trouble with certain things like media but those can easily be fixed through the extensions/add-ons. There are a lot so it'd be best to browse them at the following site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ Internet Explorer is easily exposed to worms and viruses and Safari is specifically a Mac browser.

Good question.
Personally, even with the recent release of Internet Explorer 7 I still belieive that Mozilla Firefox is the best browser available. It is fast and safe and I enjoy the many themes and add-ons it offers. Another good browser is Opera and there is also the standard Mac browser Safari. I still prefer Firefox. Although Opera was chosen to be the best browser of 2004, the selection was made before Firefox 1.0 was released.

The Best should be your decision, as what are the other benefits u are looking at is what u know best. I suggest 2 browsers, which is a freeware and have multiple windows .

Firefox has been so fast for me that I haven't had to pay for high speed service. Love it.
