Will Motorola Razr phones synchronize *Calendar* with Microsoft Outlok?

The Razr phones look good, but I'm not sure if they'll keep in synch with my Outlook Calendar. Has anyone used them in this way. Does synchronization occur when you connect it to the computer without any other actions?

Also, my MPx220 (which does all this easily because it's a "smart phone" and uses Active Synch) has a fatal flaw - it's almost impossible to get it to charge because of a really pathetic design. Does the charger connection on the Razr work and does it seem like it will last?

If you pay both companies enough, you can do about anything these days but keep in mind the costs which are not always obvious.
