stimulation the nipples by playing with them, it allows your uterus to contract. Spicy food, more sex, and a lot of walking.
Remember...when it's time, it's time. It's nothing you can really do about it. I know the feeling, and know what you are going through. But try what I've suggested, it may help..Unless, your Dr is anything like the Dr. I had with my daughter, who's willing to help put you out of your misery.

If you are far enough along and the baby is ok you can ask your doc to "strip your membranes." If i'm remebering correctly it may be called something else. Your doc will basically rub his finger in between the amniotic sac and the uterus at the opening of the cervix. This will slightly seperate the uterus from your bag of waters and will stimulate it into contractions. You have to be careful though. If this is your first child it won't help and you can run the risk of breaking the bag or tearing the uterine wall. You'll have to talk to your doc and see what they think.

Walk as much as you can, that somehow gets things moving. I have also heard sex helps, but I wonder if it is the orgasm that helps (assuming you have one.) My doctor stripped my membranes on my due date and I had my daughter that night, I don't know if that works for everyone. Are you at your due date yet? Most doctors won't let you go more than a week past it, not that that helps you, it's horrible waiting for something that you've nurtured so long. Hang tough, the baby can't stay in there forever.

I don't mean to be a pessimist but some people never go into labor on their own, I never have through three pregnancies. This last time my doctor kept on saying "you'll go any day now"...then when I was overdue again he said "I just don't think you go into labor on your own." But that doesn't mean that you won't, it's just an idea I had. Maybe have your doctor strip you membranes. Other than that I wouldn't recommend anything...foods just gave me diarrhea, walking just made me tired, and sex helped a little but was just uncomfortable.

ah-mm.... Are you speaking about the chest of drawers or the girl? Sounds variety of impolite, like you're speaking about the girl. Plz, do not use a knife on her! lol besides, attempt making use of a hammer, it really is what i'd do, a rubber hammer, the variety you make the most of to positioned down the tiles. So it doesn't damage the drawers even if it is going to likely be adequate stress to get it loose because that's stuck. desire this help. playstation . i'm no longer a builder in besides, only a lady who would do what I suggested to you if I were in that situation so imagine two times b4 taking the advice. :)

Take 3 evening prim rose oil pills a day and drink some castor oil. It is better if you mix it into eggs. Also walking and sex does help. I took 2 of those pills drunk 1/2 a bottle of castor oil and walked all day and went into labor that night. DO NOT try black or blue cohosh it can cause fetal distress. And red raspberry leaf tea works great too.

leg squats is a good one. If you have one of those exercise balls, sit on it and roll around slowly. Take a long warm shower afterwards. Take a nap and BOOM there ya go!
I do agree however, that you may not go into labor on your own. IF you are going to though, this was how I did it with EACH of my kids after I started dialating. Once I was to 3 this worked within 24 hours.

Well I know they will come when they want too. Try walking it really does help. If not hopefully your doctor will take mercy on you and induce. Just a word of caution......At this point be aware of your babies movements, track when it moves and stuff. With me I was dilated at 2 and he wasnt coming. I threw a fit and my blood pressure was high so they induced and he had a long umbilical cord and was not getting enough oxygen cause it was starting to wrap around him. If I wouldnt have begged the Dr. she would have waited until it was to late. Hope this helps.

My best friend had the same problem!!! Her doctor told her to go to Taco Bell!!! She got the spiciest food she could eat. Maybe the Fire Sauce they have there or something. She went into labor the next evening. Run for the Border girl!!!! Just don't drop your Chalupa on the way!!! Congrats!!

Well other then sex I am not sure what else will work, that little bugger is going to come out when he is ready and willing. When I was pregnant with my first, I too was dialted for about 2 weeks, and then ended up being 2 weeks late with her. So they do come whenever they want too. But I tried lifting heavy things, and tried bumpy roads, and sex and none of them worked for me either. good luck and congrats on your new soon to be little bundle of joy
