I only wear mascara, sometimes lip gloss if I'm in the mood, but that's just not doing it anymore =P
I don't want my face to look nasty when I'm not wearing make up. Is there any kind of make up or substitute make up that I could use without damaging my skin?

Go for L'oreal's Natural Minerals ($15.99) or Neutrogena's Mineral Sheers ($16.99). They're both very gentle and add a subtle bright to your skin. The look is very natural and you don't have to worry because they're made of natural minerals so it also feels light. All you need is that, some mascara a little lip gloss and you're done!

On the question about MAKE UP DAMAGING YOUR SKIN, most of the time it happens when people don't use the right make up for their skin type. If you have oily skin YOU CAN"T use any moisturizing/oily based make up because for sure you'll develop a lot of problems. If you have sensitive skin you should use fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and even better: dermatologist tested products. If you have dry skin you should go for moisturizing formulas. And if your skin tone is very light you MUST use makeup that has at least SPF 15. If you think that u have a certain skin problem see a dermatologist and if you are not sure of what type of skin you have go to see a beauty pro(spas, cosmeticians...)

Oh indeed, there are a few brands on mineral makeups you could try. It's natural and light and wont do as much damage on your skin as commercial makeup. I am sure you can find more information by searching mineral makeup.

i use bare minerals loose products. they are light, natural and the coverage is great. it looks like skin not make up. there are some other kinds like that and they might be as good, you might search online or compare some of the brands that are close to it. i love it, won't ever wear anything else again

can't think of any kind of foundation that would be a substitute for the real thing. Make sure to moisturize your skin both morning and at night.

try bobbi brown tinted moisturizer, they contain no mineral oils and have an spf 15. it's a really good product and it's light weight so it will never feel heavy.
