I just started junior year of high school, and i feel like dropping out. i am in spanish class and i can't speak, read or write it good, and i'm hispanic. i feel so ashamed that everyone can speak, read, and write it so good, and i can't. i also feel that what is the use? This year, i might do not have great grades and do great stuff and get a great SAT score for college. i feel stupid, and that i should just give up, and move to utah with my dad to become a bum there than to become an l.a. bum. I don't know what i should do?

The best advice I can give you is dont give up, you will regret it for the rest of your life, and i know you probaly sick of people you telling that but its true. I felt that way my first year of college, I hated it..the school was the lamest school i have ever attened, but i pulled it together and stuck it out, and now i transferred to a college that i love!! Another piece of advice i can give you is dont be afraid to ask for help, go to your teacher and tell her that u are a struggling and maybe he or she could offer some extra help, or you could request a tutor...but just dont give up...Good Luck!!

Why do u want to be a bum and waste your life. This has happened to all of us when we feel absoloutely down and out. Never give up. Get to work and y will be proud of yourself one day and make everyone else around u proud. There is nothing that u can't do as long as you are willing to give it an honest to goodness try. Chin up laddie and hit the books.

hi,
feeling down? well, we all do at times! am French and am sure I would fail any French class as well (am very rusty in it!). SO what! just get a grip on it! there is no shame in flunking. the shame is in NOT trying your best! if being a bum attracts you, go ahead and make a fool of yourself. otherwise, talk to the teachers, get a tutor, work hard and get through your SAT! don't give up!!!

What you should do is stay in school - a possibly talk to your teacher and tell them you are scare of spanish and explain why. I have taught many students over my 13 years of teaching with similar backgrounds and issues as you have. The only think you can really do wrong is quit - because the only one you will be harming is you. So stay in school. You will not regret that over the long rung.
