i went to the bathroom and put one in and then my boyfriend came over.....in the middle of the night he started kissin me and we began grinding and then when i went to the morning in the bathroom there was blood, but i didnt find a tampon....which makes sense, because he probably pushed it further inside of me....right??? well after a few days i've convinced myself that maybe it came out on its own that morning i went to the bathroom....maybe it came out when i peed....well, i've had a tampon inside of me b4 that i had forgotten about, and when i pulled one out another came out with it....well its been about a week now and no tampon.....and now when i go pee...i notice the toilet paper is a little pinkish....and if thats not enough, i'm having cramps.....so is there a tampon inside of me???

Oh my god. Sweetie, you have been worrying about this for a week? Please make an appointment to see your gynecologist NOW so that they can check things out for you!!!!! You absolutely MUST be more responsible with your tampon usage and make sure to remove them frequently and regularly when you have your period, and especially before having sex. If you don't you will wind up with a very, very bad infection. Infections left unresolved can affect not only your future fertility, but your bladder and kidneys. You will know if you have an infection if your vagina smells BAD, you have a discharge and have pain. DO NOT IGNORE THIS. A tampon is a foreign object in the body meant for a limited period of usage and must be changed regularly, just as sanitary napkins have to be. Honestly, if you cannot be responsible for making sure you remove your tampons, please use sanitary napkins!!!
In the 1980's tampons went under fire for a serious and fatal condition called Toxic Shock Syndrome. This was due to a specific brand of tampons that were produced then that were the Super in size, not regular. Those tampons were removed from the market and women were urged not to use tampons of that size ever again. Your vagina has to "breathe". Tampons block that action if left in too long. I have not and will not use tampons again.
I am not intentionally screaming or trying to be rude here, but:
Women DIED from TSS because of this tampon brand because it was so large it created a warm, moist environment for the deadly bacteria to grow in.Toxic shock still exists and not necessarily from tampon usage. Please read the link below.
Now, it is possible the tampon came out when you pooped and you didn't notice it in the toilet. Your abdominal muscles will push tampons out when you poop, especially if they are not inserted deep into the vagina.
Please go to the doctor and please be more responsible with your health. I hope you are using birth control, too.

If I was guessing, I would say yes there maybe a tampon up in you. The best thing that you could do is go to the doctor and have him to check you out. Because the tampon maybe way up in you and causing the cramps that you are having. And also it may make you bleed alittle. And the bleeding would more than likely be where the tampon is irrating your cervix and tissue up in you. So the best thing to do is go and have it checked out before it could lead to something serious or become tss(toxic shock sysdome) which is dangerous. And tss happens when you leave a tampon up in you for too long. So have it checked out!

If you have felt around to check, I would say you just forgot you took it out. You can't 'lose' a tampon in the vagina, it's like a pocket. If you put something in, it would still be there later. You have a cervix at the top that stops anything bigger than microscopic sperm from going further inside. If you've checked, don't worry.

I knew someone that did almost the exact same thing....if you smell an unusal odor when you urniate or do anything sexual you definitly have a tampon stuck inside of you....first try getting it out yourself, (it may sound gross, but it can save a trip to the doctor) stick your fingers up there and try to retrive it, if you arent sure then go to the doctor and explain the situation, but i would do this ASAP becuse there is a good chance that it could be infected!

reach your fingers up there and feel for it, the average depth of a vagina is 4.5 inches, my wife lost one up there when we had sex one time, not a big deal,

Take a wire hanger and unravel it then push it up really far inside of your vagina and wiggle it around really hard and you will find out if the tampon is in there. Thats what I do.
