Dell puts tv tuner in there media center pcs, Media Center pc are for entertainment needs(music, pictures, dvd, movies, dvr, and tv) its power by windows xp media center edition 2005 for all that stuff, its pretty much professional edition but with the media essentials. The tv tuner is for viewing and recording shows to the hard drive, its its like a tivo only better. You don't need a subscription like tivo.
