The rule is that if it hits the crossbar, and goes thru, then the fieldgoal is good. If it hits the crossbar and comes back out, then it is no good. That is the rule.

In the NFL or the NCAA, the ball has to go through the uprights or directly above them. I've never seen a football go through a crossbar, but until then, those are the rules

Yes. If the ball caroms through the uprights and above the crossbar, the field goal/extra point attempt is still good.

Regardless if the ball hits the crossbars, if it goes over the field goal is good.

In both the NCAA and the NFL (and every high school league in the world) it makes no difference if the ball touches the goal post uprights or the goal post cross bar. If it passes through, it is good.

In the NCAA the kick is automatically no good if the ball hits the cross bar or goal posts, even if it bounces through the up rights. In the NFL if the ball bounces through, it counts.

If it hits and goes thru, its good, if it hits and comes out its no good... sorta like the deflection rule on Home runs in Baseball.. if the ball hits the outfielder and ricochets or deflects over outfield wall, so long as it doesnt hit ground, its a hr LOL

pretty easy to explain-good if it goes through, hitting cross bars or not, and bad if it doesn't go through.
