ok i know that this is really gross to be asking...but i dont know what to do. Ok well I'm still in my early teens and have hair "down there" I was told the best thing to do was shave. But whenever I shave it gets all red & bumpy and hurts. I am afraid waxing will hurt too...what do I do?

Yeah, that does hurt, beleive me I know. The best bet would be to switch to a razor with four or more blades. It causes less pressure points, and reduces razor burn. I've been shaving for years now, prevents heat rash. Also, soak in a warm bath first, this softens the hair and makes it much easier to shave. Use shaving cream too, this also reduces razor burn and ingrown hairs.

Are you using anything when you shave? You need to use a shaving gel and that should help with the bumps. I use skintimate shaving gel for sensitive skin.

shaving down there is painful, so is waxing! My advice... let it be! shave the edges so you don't get strays when wearing a bikini, but seriously, most girls don't bother shaving there!

I tried shaving once, and haven't since. It is way too hard to do and a waste of time. haha
