What band did the members of Nirvana create after Kurt Cobain died? Did they even make another band? Sorry just curious... SOmeone told me they made another band...

David Grohl started the Foo Fighters. Kris Novaselic played with the No WTO Combo with punk Jello Biafra and guitarist Kim Thayil of Soundgarden fame.

They didn't make a band after Cobain passed. Dave Grohl's main project has been the Foo Fighters. He also done a lot of guest spots. For example, Songs for the Deaf by Queens of the Stone Age.
I seem to remember Krist had a been a few years later, but it never took off.
Pat Smear did some stuff with the Foo Fighters when they first started as I recall.

I remember when Nirvana became popular. They made the 1980's hair bands look old fashioned. There was a musical changing of the guard. While Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, etc. already had their following, Nirvana brought attention to these and other bands I thought the 1950's had its sound, then the Beatles came along, then there was the 1960's sound. Then ther was the 70's and 80's. I thought Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, etc. wa the 1990's sound, and I was thrilled. Then Kurt Cobian left this world and music went to crap. The 1990's became the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Britany Spears, and no real substantial Rock bands.

As far as I know, the only one that kept the ball rolling was Dave Grohl with the FOO FIGHTERS. I'm not sure what happened to Chris besides fighting with Courtney over Nirvana song rights.
