Her music is so soul full and she was a big inspiration to up coming artist and fans.
Her vocal range from early ages of 14 and 15 sounded so "adult like" and "for real". Non of this "baby voice" stuff that is "bubble gum" pop. Her's was deep and with a lot of emotion behind her singing and dancing.
I can't believe she has been gone for 5 years!
It is sad that the plane crashed just after finishing her video for "rock the boat". It didn't have to end that way if pilot and crew would of paid attention to the size of load on the airplane along with check mechanical errors prior to take off.
I still listen to her music today and I think she is still one of the best singers (up coming actress).
RIP Aaliyah.

I think Aaliyah was an inspirational to all girls. Guys loved her and girls wanted to be like her. She was a great singer and a great actress even though her career was short. I still listen to music by her. She was one of the greats that had to be taken from us.

I think Aaliyah was a wonderful artist and person. Aaliyah was took from us too early, I think she was innocent. She is forever in my heart and will live on forever!

Aaliyah was a very talented singer and actress and I love her music. She would be off the charts if she was still alive today! We miss her! RIP!

She was a beautiful woman who life was cut short, for what reason we will never know. And honestly, if she were still alive these new artists today wouldn't stand a chance. And that's a B.E.T.!!! R.I.P. Aaliyah...

Aaliyah was a beautiful artist!!! It was a shame when she lost her life in the crash.....I still sing to her music though!!!

I love aaliyah... she is my idol as a singer.... I have a painting of her that my dads friend did for me .... and a giant poster....and many more pics of her.... like i said she was my idol
