This is a good one= The source of stress can come from many areas. One main one is when you obsess. If you can't let something go, yes you will be stressed out most of your life! If you are paranoid, you will have stress all your life. If you have both problems your really going to be super stressed until you get these things under control. You can go to see someone in mental health!
I wish you the best!

Stress is not an easy thing to fix. It can hurt your life and your health also. of course there are many different levels of stress, and my personal situation started in highschool and grew into daily panic attacks. It got to the point where i was drinking alcohol to self medicate, wouldnt leave the house etc. I am now on perscription medication and have been for about a year now. I am now 30 and wish i would have seen a doctor years ago before i got so out of hand. I hope your situation is not this extreme but if it is you should see a physician. there are short and long term medical fixes for extreme stress and anxiety. if you arent into pills and doctors then i would suggest exercising because i hear that can really help. GOOD LUCK

In any potentially stressful encounter, simplify the situation by breaking it down into simple terms; a sentence, a couple words, and ask yourself: does this really matter in the grand scheme of things?? Do I need to get worked up about this?? What if I just didn't?? Would the world end??
You might just find that nothing is really worth freaking out about and probably won't matter a week, a month down the line. Handling it calmer will actually help you determine how you *really* feel and you'll be able to more effectively problem solve towards a more rational, effective solution.

Know and understand what are the issues / matters that are causing you stress. Then identify an activity that you enjoy doing that takes you far far away from these issues / matters. Could be things like exercise, reading or even a relaxing massage or suntanning at the beach etc. To get away from stress... take some time out and immerse yourself in activities that you enjoy... that doesn't remind you of the stress issues. Let your body and mind relax and rejuvenate through these activities. And plenty of good rest is important.

I get really stressed out really easily. So, my friend and I decided that once a week we would carve time out of an afternoon to go visit a coffee house in our area together. So far we have been to two of the eleven in our town, but plan on going to them all! I really look forward to those days because I know after work I get to forget everything and have a good time. I used to take a bath every day after work before my husband got home. That was my time; I even bought a book holder for the bathtub so that I could read while I soaked. Really, just find something you like to do and force yourself to make time to do it once a week. At first, it will seem more stressful than it is worth, but after a week or two of making yourself drop everything, you will realize that the world will go on turning if you take two hours a week to enjoy for yourself.

Avoiding stress is inevitable.
Identify the problem
Think Positive
Relax
Ways you can fight stress are:
Eating Healthy
Meditation; Yoga
Exercising
Doing something you enjoy
Getting out of a stressful situation*
*Like I said sometimes it's inevitable. But if it's coming from a relationship or maybe your workplace, neighborhood, etc. You should get help, talk to someone you trust, or remove yourself from that environment

I'll count the grammatical error to stress, but anyway, many times its just something that you choose that helps you to either relax, or to take your mind off of whatever is stressing you - an escape. This can be anything from running in the park every morning at 5am to playing videogames every day for 3 or more hours. Anything you choose that helps is good.

Stress....de stress yourself.
Get a massage, spend the day watching the clouds go by.
Go to the beach, enjoy a drink of choice and relax.
All else fails there are natural herbs for stress, there is a green capsule that you can take, might make you sleepy, but will relax you to extreme. I definately recommend it.

Just the words "fight stress" tend to make me feel, well, stressed. How about instead of combating it, you concentrate of your breathing for a few moments? Sometimes just quieting your mind for a few moments can give you relief from stress. Many times, stress comes from, surprise, trying to avoid it. Trying to control the stress can just lead to more stress...
