live next door to an insane asylum?
or
walk within 100 feet of a street gang hangout on your way to work everymorning?

Street gang because usually the street gang will not bother you. If a crazy person escapes there is no telling what they'll do.

I actually prefer both because I once lived near a gang hangout and the insane asylum was a little bit farther away, like about 1 mile or so.

I would rather live next door to an insane asylum just because the risk is way more higher for me to get killed by the street gang than for one of the people in the asylum to escape.

I think I would rather live next door to an insane asylum. I know they are locked up very tightly. Were we live we are lucky no street gangs. But I have seen them in other parts of the state and yeah they scare me.

Since I am a nurse and have worked in the mental health field I would rather live next to an insane asylum.

i honestly live next door to an insane asylum

the buffalo state psych center

next to buffalo state college

but the older half (built in the late 1800s) has been condemned for years. It is a gorgeous building, with two copper towers, but creepy, because part of the architecture has large cage like structures along the open corridors. creepy!

in fact, if you've ever read the book, "city of Light" which is all about buffalo at the turn of the century,(i was the first entire city to have electricity) it mentions it.

but um, im sure this is not at all the type of response you were looking for.

Either crazies running about or waking up with ruffians. Ones entertaining (and possibly dangerous in entertaining ways,) one is dangerous in non entertaining ways.
Most likely they have the patients restrained to the asylum if they are high risk. The ones that don't go crazy in public are most likely givin special permission to go out.
Ill take the insane asylum.

Live next door. That means I could work there. I think I want to get into that field in some way, so that'd be fun.

Street gangs? Ha. I drive to school everyday in one of the worst parts of a big city. You just keep your eyes forward and no one gets hurt.

Ride my bike to the insane low prices at Mal & Tad's Store for Dad and Lad. Lock it and walk the rest of the way. That or work nights.

Skreet gangs can be called the "Insane Latin Nobles", but I really dont think they were clinically declared insane. They wanted to throw down, but didn't finish the sentence, so I didn't know what they wanted to throw down. Probably glass bottles, or their spray cans

last night after the Astros game I had to walk by the Harris County prison where at least two dozen newly release prisoners were hanging around smoking weed. It was awful. I'd want to live next to an insane asylum, without a doubt.
